Bubbly presenter Nichola Dixon began her professional training as a dancer, at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds but her career was cut short due to a chronic back injury, so it was then, after graduating from The University of Leeds with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, that she spent some time working as Cabin Crew embracing her love for travel. During this time, Nichola also worked as a presenter on her days off and after two years, found that her performances on the box were much more fulfilling than those up in the air at 35,000 feet!!!!!

Channel One Television in Liverpool followed - where she worked as the main anchor for a further two years, whilst also qualifying as a journalist. Nichola then joined BBC in the North West as a weather girl for a three year stint and later, as a reporter for the regional current affairs series, "Inside Out" and indeed still does features for the show.  Appearances on “Children in Need”, BBC News 24 followed, as well as a fair bit of radio on BBC GMR and acting work too on programmes such as 'Nice Guy Eddie", "Clocking Off", and 'Hollyoaks".

Most recently Nichola presented alongside fellow hosts Melinda Messenger and Michael Underwood, for ITV1 and ITV.com’s " Bingo Night Live" as well as working on the Travel Channel presenting “Essential” Mauritius, and appearing in the dramatic film wgab (wives, girlfriends and boyfriends). Her most celebrated recent production, though, is her gorgeous baby son Finlay!
